Vineyard Ausinet is located on the Madonna dei Monti hill, approx 350 m above sea level. The soil is calcareous – clayey. The East-south-east exposure gives good morning sun exposure to dry the night dew and obtain optimum maturation of the grapes. The lack of strong afternoon sun is particularly indicated for white grapes, therefore we decided to plant 70% Pinot Grigio and the remaining Chardonnay.
