Fermented and vinted in stainless steel, it undergoes a further development of 18-20 months in 500-L French oak barrels. It is usually bottled in March and is sold after 6 months of refinement in bottled kept in cellar at controlled temperature. The marriage of the two grapes produces a full bodied wine suitable to be aged for many years. It is indicated for flavored first courses, game, and hearty dishes in general.
